Frank D. Smith of Crumpton, Md. died on Saturday December 5th. in the Shore Regional medical Center, at Easton. He was 83. Mr. Smith was born in Hope Md. the son of the late Roland and Annie Buckle Smith. Mr. Smith worked in construction for the James Julian Construction Co. for many years and during his career, he built his own home. After he retired, his love for the outdoors kept him busy doing yard work and landscaping. He enjoyed working in his gardens, playing music, especially his guitar and entertaining at the senior center in Sudlersville the last few years. Mr. Smith was also a member of the Crumpton Vol. Fire Co. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife Betty Ann Smith of Crumpton, MD, a son Lawrence Edward Smith of Crumpton, Md, Daughters, Alice Faye Foy of Henderson, Md., Carlotta Maldonado of Townsend, De., Nora Lee Lane of Crumpton, Md. and Patricia Ann Johnson of Bloxom, Va. 1- Sister, Doris Marvel of Sudlersville, Md. 9- Grandchildren and 12 Greatgrandchildren. He is preceded in death by 10 siblings, Patricia Crew, Pearl Chaffinch, Rubin Smith, Elsie Mae Scott, James Smith, Mary Edge, Catherine Higgs, Violet Stubbs, Anna Mae Smith and Beatrice Wallace. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday December 9th. at 7pm in the Fellows Family Funeral Home, 370 W. Cypress St. Millington, Md. where friends and family may call after 6pm.
